PROJECT OVERVIEW
Botanic Skincare is a conceptual skincare brand developed as an academic branding project focused on sustainability, self-care, and nature-inspired wellness. The project explores how a clean, conscious visual identity can communicate values such as vegan formulation, cruelty-free practices, and environmental responsibility within the beauty and skincare market. I was responsible for developing the complete visual identity system, from logo design to brand collateral, translating the brand’s mission into a cohesive, elegant, and contemporary aesthetic.
PROBLEM / OBJECTIVE
The objective was to create a visual identity that clearly positioned Botanic Skincare as a natural, ethical, and premium skincare brand, without appearing overly clinical or overly luxury-driven. The challenge was to balance organic elements with a refined, modern look that could appeal to conscious consumers seeking both wellness and design sophistication. Additionally, the identity needed to be flexible enough to scale across multiple touchpoints, including packaging, stationery, and branded materials, while maintaining strong visual consistency.
SOLUTION
• Designed the brand logo and symbol, inspired by botanical elements and feminine wellness, combining nature and self-care into a distinctive visual mark.
• Developed a natural color palette based on green, earth, and neutral tones to reinforce sustainability, calm, and trust.
• Created brand stationery, including business card, letterhead, and envelope, ensuring consistency across printed materials.
• Designed packaging concepts for skincare products, focusing on clean layouts, subtle botanical graphics, and premium yet approachable aesthetics.
• Applied the identity across mockups and brand assets to demonstrate real-world usability and scalability.
RESULTS
• Delivered a cohesive and professional visual identity suitable for a modern skincare brand.
